Anyone's life truly lived consists of work, sunshine, exercise, soap, plenty of fresh air, and a happy contented spirit."
Kendrick Farm has a No Soliciting policy in an effort to keep strangers away from our children and homes. The HOA has posted No Soliciting signs at the entrance of all three sections. You may call Mount Holly Police non-emergency number at 704-827-4343 with information such as: salesperson’s name or description, company name, vehicle description and license plate. An officer will come out and speak with them, check that they have a permit and log their identification information into the police database. This includes door-to-door sales people as well as curbside sales (ie: ice cream trucks etc.) The more we communicate these concerns to our police department, the more they will physically come to our neighborhood which automatically boosts our safety!
NEW Trespassing Rules/Enforcement for Pool, Playground, and Parking Lot
Effective September 2013
The HOA is increasing efforts to eliminate vandalism to our property, break-ins at our pool, and drugs in our neighborhood. The parking lot and playground areas will have set hours of use between dawn and dusk.Police will take enforcement action which can include a citation and/or arrest for any residents and non-residents found trespassing after hours on pool grounds, playground or parking lot. The proper signs have been placed and paperwork filed according to MHPD regulations to proceed with this enforcement. You can help! Residents can call MHPD at 704.827.4343 to report a vehicle or persons in the parking lot or on the pool/playground area grounds between dusk and dawn. You may ask to remain anonymous when you call to report this information. Thank you for your support in keeping Kendrick Farm a safe community!
When Gaston County School is in Session...
Please remember to stop for the loading and unloading of children. Slow down! You never know when a child will come dashing across the street. Keep in mind that you may report all drivers not obeying the law to Mt. Holly Police Department and they will follow-up on the complaint.
A Message regarding the Neighborhood Watch
Neighborhood Watch signs have been posted throughout our subdivision to let criminals know we will not tolerate crime in our neighborhood. We hope you all join us in making our community a safe and enjoyable place to live. Together, we can make a difference!
"In some places speeding is highly encouraged."
Speed is your friend when trying to beat the guy at the track but it becomes the enemy when trying to keep your neighborhood safe. Please pay close attention to your speed when navigating through our community. Police are watching and so are your neighbors! Residents have been asked to report what cars are speeding through the neighborhood by the police so that it can be addressed.
"But he's on a leash!"
We have had reports about loose dogs. We know that you keep your pets close to your heart, we just ask that you please keep them close to yourhome. Also, if you plan to walk your dog plan for the unexpected. Carry a baggie or necessary items to clean up after them.
"Cars and Kids don't mix."
Streets lined with cars puts our children at risk of being seriously injured. Please do not park in the streets longer than necessary to rearrange vehicles. Not only is it unsafe it's also a violation of Kendrick Farm regulations.
"It's a daily driver!" Commercial vehicles are prohibited from being parked or stored within the community unless in an enclosed garage. Commercial vehicles are defined by the HOA covenants by excessive size, equipment attachments and company identifying labels. Please see the current Kendrick Farm Design Standards on the Architectural Control page for details.
All homeowners are an important part of our neighborhood watch system Please direct any public safety concerns such as speeding, noise, vandalism, theft, etc to the Mount Holly Police Department at 704-827-4343.
